His 30-volume work discusses the 'superman', a metaphor for the divinely transformed individual soul. He withdrew from the world in 1910 and founded International Ashram in Pondicherry.
7/9/1969India accepted 'Royal Bengal Tiger' as its National Animal, as recommended by the Indian Wild life Board. This Tiger is also known as the majestic tiger - panthere tigris (Linnaeus).
