The most acquainted playback singer in the Indian Music Industry has worked with different set of Music directors including Academy Award winner A.R. Rahman, R.D. Burman and Hamsalekha. Kavita Krisnamurthy is basically trained in Indian Classical music and she started her career at the age of alongside one of the legends of well-known singers, Lata Mangeshkar under the composition of Music director and Singer, Hemant Kumar. Her birth name was Sharada Krishnamurthy.
Though Kavitha Krishnamurthy is basically a playback singer, she sung as a soloist with orchestras. The collaboration with Western Artists from pop, jazz and classical fields proved her versatility. Apart from the traditional playback singing in films and albums, she had also rendered her voice for many devotional Music albums and Ghazal. She recently sung a song for the album Women's Day Special: Spreading Melodies Everywhere (2014) under the composition of Nayab Raja and penned by Dipti Mishra. Kavitha Krishnamurthy has performed throughout India.
Some of the popular hits of Kavitha Krishnamurthy are Yaarana, Agni Sakhi, 1942: A Love Story, Khamoshi and Bhairavi. She was born in a Tamil Iyer family in New Delhi. She is the recipient of three consecutive Filmfare Best Female Playback Singer Awards in the period of 1994-1996. She received Padmashri Award in2006. Kavitha Krishamurthy got married to L. Subramaniyam, a violinist in 1999. After she had quit singing for films, Kavitha Krishnamurthy has been performing in various shows across the globe and especially in US, a number of NRI fans will be eager to catch her voice. Sadhana Sargam
Sadhana has sung in many Indian languages for films, television serials, devotionals and pop music albums. She is well known for her 1990s Hindi songs and South Indian songs. She holds a record for being the only North Indian to have won the National Award for a South Indian song.[3] She is also a trained Hindustani classical singer. Beginning her career in the early 1980s, Sargam has recorded her voice in various Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, Oriya, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati,Nepali and many others.
Sadhana is the daughter of reputed classical singer and music teacher Neela Ghanekar. Influenced by the musical environs of her home, Sadhana began to learn singing and classical music from the age of four. She won a Central Government scholarship at the age of 10 and this led to a 7 - year learning stint under Pandit Jasraj. From childhood she was also learning and performing with the late maestro Vasant Desai for his documentaries, children's films and stage shows. Desai advised her mother that Sadhana was competent enough to handle both classical and light music and should remain in touch with both, as her mother wanted her to take up light singing. In fact, it was Desai who recommended that she learn under Pandit Jasraj.

Padmini Kolhapure
Padmini Kolhapure (born 1 November 1965) is an Indian actress and singer, who appeared primarily in Hindi films. During her successful career, she received two Filmfare Awards and was the popular actress in the 1980s. kolhapure, at the age of fifteen, won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the revenge drama Insaf Ka Tarazu (1981), and at the age of seventeen, won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for the tragic romance Prem Rog (1983), thus becoming the second youngest actress to win the awards in the respective categories.


Padmini was known for her professionalism and diligence. She even worked when she had fever on Do Dilon Ki Dastaan. She had more box office hits, such as Vidhaata (1982) and Souten (1983). She had a huge hit with Pyar Jhukta Nahin (1985) with Mithun Chakraborty, and they were paired together in several more films. She agreed to work with Anil Kapoor when he was a newcomer in his first film Woh Saat Din (1983).
